#33 MIGRAINE MONDAY

Last night I was super tired so I went to bed earlier than usual, and was awoken around 4:30 a.m. with the starting of a migraine headache. Oh joy! I popped a few ibuprofen, went back to bed, and woke up around 5:30. Headache was still there. Our Kartchner Caverns tour was scheduled for 9 a.m. with a check in required shortly after 8. I struggled with making a decision whether or not to go, and ultimately ended up staying behind in my pajamas. And, as soon as Steve and the kids left, the circus began. Willow began barking and jumping at every light source she could see. My head was loving the noise, so I covered the windows with towels and clamps. Later, I found Willow laying up in Sierra's bed. She somehow jump up to the sleeping area above the cab and surrendered to the darkness. She looked so sad but all was quiet. She loves it when we are all together, just like Titus. When her people are gone, she is not happy.
It was definitely a good choice for me to stay behind. The headache eventually went away, and at this moment I am 99% recovered.

Steve and the kids had an awesome tour of Kartchner Caverns & the Park Rangers were so nice and rescheduled my ticket for tomorrow. There are no pictures to show of their tour today, as they do not allow any cameras inside the cave.

After lunch today, we sat down to play The Allowance Game. It's a great game for working with money. Certain kiddos in our family get distracted and like to move the game pieces around. Just when we were finally getting settled into the groove of how to play, an RV with two children around CC and Alex's age showed up. Game over. We will revisit it at another time.

Now the kids are playing outside and all is mellow ♡ and the dogs are chillin' in the shade and sun.
